Unlike the other sleep programs you've tried, our approach is the alternative to Ferber and Cry-it-out you've been looking for. Good sleep is more than nights. It's naps, it's activity, and it's routine. We don't believe in a one-sized-fits approach, which is why you'll be guided by a Pediatric Sleep Coach in each of our infant programs.

NOPE! The Cry-it-out (CIO) method suggest your child cry for extended long periods of time, alone and without response till the next morning. A modified form of Cry-it-out is also called Ferber where you leave your child in their room, and come in for timed checks in the first few days. That's not the vibe around here! Our methods are designed for your child's age and personality. Our 4-step process aligns your child's biological sleep rhythms to build natural sleep pressure and guiding them to independent sleep naturally. We then apply our responsive sleep training method where we have families in the room, and "coach" their child to sleep including voice response and touch. However, it's important to understand that CIO doesn't mean there won't be some tears. It's how your baby protests change, but we encourage being responsive the whole way through.
We often ask families, what they want to accomplish and we're usually able to provide so much more.Imagine being confident that when you finish a nap or bedtime routine, you'll be able to lay your child down (knowing they feel safe) and you are able to walk out and they fall asleep...within minutes...EVERY DAY...Your child will wake every 2-3 hours, but will mostly roll over and fall back asleep and consistently for 11-12 hours at night. Naps are more predictable and help your child feel good about the day...happy and rested. This is what we strive for!
Families often ask if there will be crying. While we do not do gradual checks, cry-it-out, or actually have you leave the room, we will be changing your child's routine. It will be different, and though we will be responding and intervening, there will likely be tears as your child learns to see the new routine as familiar. With our approach, however, where we work on natural factors of sleep first, many of our families see success the first night from time of bedtime to time asleep between 15-30 minutes. NOTE: This isn't ALL of crying <3.However, regardless of the time, we aim to be responsive, encourage with intervention, and work to build foundations before sleep training to reduce crying and get you to your sleep goals in just 3 days.
YES!! Majority of our families are breastfeeding, and we work with you to help determine your feeding and breastfeeding goals to align with your child's sleep goals. Our families are certainly successful continuing their breastfeeding journey while also getting better sleep.Similarly, we know many families decide to room share, either because of their current home structures or to follow AAP recommendations. We do not require our families to put their children in a separate room in order to be successful, especially since the core of our bedtime strategies requires parental presence.
